Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED) Schedule: PRN Nights, 13‑week temporary assignment Flat Rate: $60.00 per hour Job Overview Registered Nurse on the Emergency Services team delivering compassionate care in a 13‑bed rural ER, meeting the needs of patients of all ages while supporting community health advancement. Responsibilities Demonstrate knowledge and skills required to provide appropriate care to patients across all age groups in the ED. Assess patient data and interpret information to identify age‑specific care needs. Supervise, coordinate, and delegate patient care to ensure efficient, policy‑compliant delivery within scope of practice. Apply nursing research and participate in performance‑improvement activities to uphold professionalism. Qualifications Current VA or Compact RN license. Preferred: Minimum one year of ED experience. BLS certification required within 30 days of hire (or before orientation). ACLS and PALS certification required within 6 months. Advanced Stroke Course preferred.
