Director of Finance

A growing professional services organization is seeking a hands-on Director of Finance to lead the accounting and finance function while partnering closely with executive leadership on strategy, forecasting, and operational decision-making. This role is ideal for a Controller looking to take the next step toward a CFO-level position or an experienced finance leader who enjoys building processes, improving systems, and driving business performance in a growing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead all accounting and finance operations, including month-end close, financial reporting, and cash management Own budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic planning Partner with executive leadership on growth initiatives, investments, and operational decisions Manage and develop the accounting team Ensure accurate GAAP-compliant financial statements and reporting Oversee payroll, treasury, tax, audit, and banking relationships Strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial processes Support ongoing ERP implementation and finance system enhancements Qualifications 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Prior Controller, Director of Finance, or senior finance leadership experience Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and team leadership Experience building processes, controls, and scalable finance operations CPA preferred Why This Opportunity?
