Our organization is seeking a Program Director to spearhead a newly launched, community-focused Family Medicine residency program located in the Antelope Valley of northern Los Angeles County. Opportunity Highlights:

• The role encompasses responsibilities as Program Director, educator, and clinician.

• This position is structured as a 0.7 FTE for program leadership, with the remaining time dedicated to clinical practice.

• Clinical practice options may include working in a Family Medicine clinic or as a hospitalist.

• The residency program commenced in 2023 and aims for a full complement of 8 residents in each of the three years.

• The Program Director will ensure ongoing development and maintenance of accreditation in compliance with ACGME standards.

• Responsibilities include overseeing educational quality, curriculum design, and experiential rotations.

• The Director will lead the processes for interviewing, selecting, and evaluating residents.

• Provide mentorship, leadership, teaching, and administrative guidance to residents.

• Collaborate closely with hospital and medical staff to facilitate effective integration within the organization.

• Competitive compensation package with a base salary included.

Benefits Package:

• Compensation ranges from $295,000 to $350,000, including incentives based on clinical practice.

• Position Requirements:

• Must hold current board certification from the ABFM or AOBFP.

• A minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a Program Director, Associate Program Director, or core faculty member.

• Proven track record as a leader, educator, and clinician.

• Experience in scholarly activities or research is essential.

• Active involvement in professional associations related to Family Medicine.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership abilities are required.

We provide a range of inpatient and outpatient surgical services, including bariatric, colorectal, orthopedic, neurological, spine, ENT, vascular, plastic, and robotic surgeries, utilizing the da Vinci Xi system. Additionally, we offer medical and surgical oncology services in partnership with a leading cancer treatment center.
