This individual will specialize in providing industry and technical expertise to help close sales in our Agriculture business.**Responsibilities:*** Effectively collaborates with account-assigned sales professionals to close sales of strategic, complex/technical products* Uses in-depth subject matter and product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales professionals and customer end-users through sales presentations and product demonstrations* Assists sales professionals in assessing potential applications of company products and developing recommendations to meet customer needs* Prepares detailed product specifications for the implementation of customer products/applications/solutions, as needed* Provides consultation to prospective users, and internal commercial teams and/or product capability assessment and validation* Drives revenue generation for an assigned set of products* Become a trusted advisor to clients and prospects**Qualifications:*** Knowledge of the utilities industry* 5+ years of experience working with enterprise customers in a Solution Engineer, pre-sales, technical sales, or solution delivery role.* Be a brilliant storyteller, comfortable with challenging customers and prospects and teaching for value.* Knowledge of the challenges businesses encounter when adopting SaaS solutions in their Digital Transformation journey.* Strong commercial acumen required* Competitive Salary* Unlimited PTO* Collaborative and dynamic work environment.* Flexible working hours* Competitive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans* 6% 401K matching* Unlimited access to 13k+ courses via learning platform to support employee career advancement* Employee Assistance Program (EAP)*The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between **$70,000** and **$92,000**. DTN is a pay-for-performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity, and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
