Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring robotics, spine, total joints, and general surgery experience with an active GA or Compact license.

Details

Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting

Cases include robotics, spine, total joints, and general surgery

AM shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week

30-minute meal break included in shift

On-call responsibilities required including weekday, weekend, and holiday call (approximately 1-2 call days per month)

13-week assignment length

Requirements

Active GA or Compact RN license in hand

Current BLS certification

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Experience in robotics, spine, total joints, and general surgical procedures required

Travel experience preferred

Additional Information

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Former Emory or Houston Methodist permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility

RTO is strictly limited: a maximum of 5 days off if not near a holiday, or 3 days if requested on or near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed

Holiday coverage is required as part of the assignment
