Responsibilities

• Provide direct dialysis nursing care to patients in the on-site unit.

• Monitor patient vitals and dialysis machine parameters during sessions.

• Assess and respond to dialysis-related emergencies and complica tions.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and track performance metrics.

• Adhere to regulatory and facility policies to ensure compliance.

• Develop and update individualized dialysis treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.

• Document all care activities accurately in electronic health records.

• Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless patient throughput and targets.

• Maintain equipment readiness, preventive maintenance, and infection control standards.

• Educate patients on dialysis procedures, self-care, and lifestyle modifications.

• Utilize data and pipelines to identify potential opportunities for patient care expansion.

• Support career development through ongoing learning and professional growth.

Experience/Qualifications

• RN license with current state-specific dialysis nursing certification.

• Proven experience in in-center hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis nursing.

• Ability to monitor dialysis machines, patient vitals, and troubleshoot alarms.

• Strong emergency response skills for dialysis-related events and complications.

• Competence in developing individualized dialysis care plans with physicians.

• Proficiency in electronic health records documentation and data entry.

• Commitment to infection control, equipment readiness, and preventive maintenance.

• Ability to adhere to regulatory policies and facility procedures for compliance.

• Strong teamwork and communication to support patient throughput and targets.

• Experience in patient education on dialysis procedures, self-care, and lifestyle changes.

• Data-driven approach with ability to use pipelines to identify care opportunities.
