Overview Registered Nurse - Endoscopy travel assignment in Petoskey, Michigan, United States. Start date: 06/15/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $2,345–$2,490. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 5x8 days (6:30 AM–3:00 PM). Setting: hospital-based unit with a 26-bed Level 3 Medical-Surgical service focused on patients with complex medical conditions, infectious diseases, oncology, behavioral health, hospice, and end-of-life care. This role involves joining a team that is piloting a Virtual Nursing staffing model to increase bedside time. Key Highlights

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, including pre- and post-procedure assessment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate an individualized care plan consistent with patient needs and goals.
• Administer medications and sedation per physician orders; monitor and document patient response and vital signs.
• Maintain sterile technique and standard precautions; support equipment setup and procedure readiness.
• Document care accurately per unit policies and evidence-based practice; communicate using SBAR and participate in interdisciplinary rounds.
• Contribute to care team through bedside-focused practice and, where applicable, participate in the unit’s virtual staffing model to optimize bedside time.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Michigan
• BLS (AHA) certification
• 2+ years of RN Endoscopy experience (required)
• Ability to work in a hospital-level medical-surgical setting
• Endoscopy-related experience and competency for procedural support and recovery
