Title Clerk

Title ClerkHonda of Boerne is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Title Clerk to manage all vehicle title, registration, and related documentation. This is a critical role that ensures deals are processed accurately and efficiently so customers receive their vehicles and paperwork on time.You will work closely with the sales, F&I, and office teams while maintaining strong relationships with the DMV, lenders, and other agencies.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess all new and used vehicle titles, registrations, and related paperwork accurately and in a timely mannerPrepare and submit title applications, lien notations, and registration documents to the Texas DMVCoordinate with lenders to secure titles, payoffs, and electronic title transfersVerify deal jackets for completeness and accuracy before submissionTrack title status and follow up on pending or rejected paperworkMaintain organized digital and physical title filesAssist customers with title and registration questions and status updatesEnsure compliance with Texas DMV regulations and dealership policiesSupport the office manager and F&I department with documentation as neededHandle plates and related customer paperworkPerform other administrative duties as assigned to support smooth dealership operationsQualifications1–3+ years of title clerk or dealership administrative experience preferred (automotive experience strongly preferred)Solid understanding of vehicle title and registration processes (Texas DMV experience is a plus)High attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple deals and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar)Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitudeAbility to work independently while collaborating with sales and office teamsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredValid driver’s license and clean background check requiredWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurance optionsPaid time off and holidays401(k) opportunityEmployee vehicle purchase/lease discountsStable full-time position with a growing dealershipSupportive team environment
