Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by providing essential support to young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school environment. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from 8am to 3pm throughout the academic year and focuses on an engaging caseload of Early Learners and Preschool-age students.
Your expertise will encourage communication growth and foster positive learning experiences for children at a crucial developmental stage. Collaborate with dedicated educators and support staff, delivering services in a supportive and inclusive setting.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligible Clinical Fellow
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and developmentally appropriate practices
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and provide individualized speech and language therapy to students on your caseload
- Develop and implement IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals tailored to students’ unique needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students’ progress and well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school-based reporting requirements
- Support skill-building in articulation, language, fluency, social communication, and play-based therapy
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding speech and language development
