Babysitter wanted for a family living near

We have four children, ages 18 months–7 years old, and we’re looking for someone dependable, nurturing, CPR certified, able to pass a background check, and who genuinely enjoys engaging with children. The position would involve a combination of childcare and helping keep our household/kids’ routines running smoothly. Some of the responsibilities would include: • Getting one of the kids ready and transported to school when needed • Helping with our homeschool curriculum and keeping the school-age kids engaged with their lessons • Playing with and engaging the younger children through age-appropriate activities • Helping with meals/snacks and keeping the kids’ areas reasonably picked up • Helping with routines such as getting dressed, bathroom needs, naps/quiet time, etc. • Supporting transitions and keeping everyone on their schedules • Providing a safe, positive, patient environment for all four kids • Potentially helping with occasional errands or kid-related tasks as we get comfortable working together We’re really looking for someone who is proactive and comfortable taking initiative rather than someone who needs to be told what to do every few minutes. Someone who can get down on the floor and play with a toddler, then turn around and help a 7-year-old with schoolwork is exactly the kind of person we’re hoping to find. Pay will be based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses and/or raises as trust and responsibility grow. We’re hoping to find someone who can become a reliable part of our family’s routine and someone our kids genuinely enjoy being around.
