Event Assistant Student Worker

Student worker position in the Event Management department to assist with the execution of on‑campus events. Must be able to lift objects and stand on feet for multiple hours on event days. Must be able to work as a team as well as individually. Must be a current Lipscomb University student. Responsibilities Ability to work well with full-time event staff and other student workers Communicate effectively with Event Managers and team members Positively interact with internal and external clients Assist event team with set-up and tear down of events Arrive promptly on time as scheduled Complete assigned tasks in-office Organize event materials and inventory Maintain a professional manner, including attire, in and out of the office Availability to work nights and weekends Availability to time manage and work potential weekly hours in-office Supports the event manager to perform duties on day of event in their absence Includes working ticketing services at non-athletic events May be Federal Work Study eligible.
