Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating duties in a 3-OR surgical suite serving patients of all ages
• Support pre-operative and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) areas as needed through float assignments
• Maintain required certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, HWC) throughout the duration of the assignment
• Participate in on-call rotation, with approximately 10–11 call days per month (up to 15–16 days if staffing is limited)
• Work every other weekend and/or as needed per unit scheduling
• Document patient care accurately using CQI and Medhost EHR systems

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in the state of New Mexico
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and HWC certifications required at time of submission — certifications are not available on site
• Minimum 2 years of OR/surgical nursing experience
• All clinical staff working in New Mexico must be fingerprinted prior to hire; travelers may begin on a 14-day waiver while results are pending, with required supervision during that period
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, though not required
• Familiarity with CQI and/or Medhost electronic health record systems
• Experience serving a diverse patient population across all age groups
