About the Role

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and establish tailored therapy strategies to help them reach vital functional milestones.
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Leverage proven techniques to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded, patient-centric care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their loved ones about therapeutic practices to encourage ongoing progress at home.
• Track and Chart Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans as required to keep patients on the path to recovery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Continuing education or further certifications are encouraged and funded.

Licenses

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must.
