Senior Manager - CFO Advisory (Private Equity Advisory) CPA Required | Transaction Advisory Services Experience Required | Private-Equity Accounting | 100% Remote We are partnering with a leading finance and accounting advisory firm to identify a Senior Manager to join their CFO Advisory team . This team works closely with private equity-backed companies, providing hands-on accounting and finance support during key phases of growth, transformation, and transaction activity. This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to work directly with leadership teams while driving impactful financial and operational initiatives across a diverse portfolio of companies. What You'll Do Lead complex accounting and finance workstreams across multiple engagements, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, supporting engagement execution and client communication Work closely with leadership to plan, coordinate, and deliver on key engagement objectives Participate in client discussions and presentations, providing financial insights and recommendations Proactively identify risks, inefficiencies, or delays and recommend practical solutions Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on accounting and finance support, including: Post-acquisition integration and optimization Financial reporting and close process improvement Audit readiness and compliance preparation Working capital, cash flow, and operational finance analysis Prepare high-quality, client-ready financial analyses, models, and deliverables Manage engagement workstreams and ensure alignment with timelines and objectives Collaborate with finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive execution Maintain strong ownership of deliverables and ensure consistent, high-quality output What You Bring Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting required CPA required 9+ years of relevant experience, including leadership or supervisory experience Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting for private companies Experience in audit, advisory, financial consulting, or operational finance (private equity experience preferred) Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly Proven ability to lead workstreams and operate independently in a fast-paced environment Experience working with senior stakeholders and leadership teams Willingness to travel periodically based on business needs Why Join Direct exposure to private equity portfolio companies and executive leadership Opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives across the investment lifecycle High-growth, collaborative environment with strong career advancement opportunities Flexible work model with reduced travel compared to traditional consulting roles Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
