Step into a rewarding opportunity to support high school students as a School Psychologist in a thriving urban community near West Chester, PA. This full-time, onsite contract position spans the entire academic year, from August 24, 2026, to June 10, 2027. You’ll become an integral part of a high school team, providing essential evaluation and assessment services in a dynamic environment where your expertise is truly valued.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and active School Psychologist certification/licensure for Pennsylvania
- Demonstrated school-based experience, preferably with a high school population
- Track record of success working in urban educational settings
- Strong skills in student evaluations, assessments, and individualized educational planning
- Ability to complete all required PA state clearances prior to start
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for a 7:15AM – 2:45PM schedule, Monday through Friday
- Comfortable working exclusively onsite—remote or hybrid options are not available
- Adaptability and confidence in navigating district and location-specific expectations
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological and educational evaluations for high school students
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Develop and interpret assessment data to guide intervention, placement, and planning
- Participate in team meetings to review case files and provide guidance
- Maintain compliance with all state and district procedures for documentation and reporting
- Foster positive relationships with students and staff in a diverse urban setting
