Store Manager In Training (SMIT) – CVS Health We aim to provide a supportive training program to develop future Store Managers. The SMIT program is a 16‑week self‑paced, collaborative training designed to prepare candidates for a Store Manager role. Key Responsibilities Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion during the structured program. Support your store as a management team member and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies. Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Assist with customer service duties to provide high levels of service. Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth. Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. Qualifications High school diploma or GED (required). A four‑year college degree is preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree. Retail management experience or prior experience as a CVS Supervisor. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs. Willingness to accept promotion to Store Manager role at any location in the designated market and ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within that market.
