Staff Accountant

Accounting Position

Principle Accountabilities:

Areas of accounting include: Cost accounting, plant accounting, reporting and analytical responsibilities, sales revenue accounting, including trade fund spending and analysis, fixed asset accounting, including sales tax and property tax, general accounting, including bank reconciliations, month end close, journal entries, account analysis, and budgeting, credit evaluation.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, computer skills: proficient in MS Office, strong proficiency in Excel, prior work experience or internship preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent communication skills written & verbal, team work, sociability, striving, ability to problem-solve, ability to research/investigate, patience and persistence, multi-task oriented, accurate good eye for detail, high energy level, excellent interpersonal skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Direct: None, Indirect: None.

Other:

Responsible for monitoring, record keeping and taking appropriate actions for specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and pre requisite program requirements. Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management.
