Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate therapeutic interventions utilizing evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Maintain meticulous, up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a counselor at Balanced Minds Counseling, you will serve a diverse clientele comprising individuals and families from varying backgrounds who may have limited access to mental health care. Clients may present with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse, requiring a personalized and empathetic approach to treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling settings, demonstrating expertise in client interaction and therapy delivery.
