Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled CT/Rad Tech for a 13-week contract performing imaging procedures during 3x12 night shifts. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, attention to safety, and excellent patient care to support diagnostic imaging services.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and radiology imaging equipment safely and accurately to produce diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain all documentation, including certifications, licensure, and shift reports, in compliance with facility policies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and effective imaging workflows.
• Adhere to all healthcare regulations and safety standards, including BLS, ARRT, and licensure requirements.
• Assist in training or orienting new staff or students as needed.

Qualifications:

• Possess valid WV or Compact Radiologic Technologist license; pending licenses accepted.
• Demonstrate 2+ years' experience in CT and diagnostic imaging.
• Hold current BLS, ARRT certification, and other required credentials through the AHA.
• Exhibit proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Cerner.
• Ability to perform IV starts and possess strong patient communication skills.
• Maintain reliable transportation and be at least 100 miles from the facility.
