Security Officer (Full-Time)

Organization Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa Summary Schedule Requirements: Must be available to work a flexible schedule during the week, including weekends and holidays. Role The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. This person will follow safety and security standards and complete incident reports as required. Key Responsibilities Ensure the overall safety and security of the hotel guests, colleagues, and hotel premises Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, responding to incidents of fire, accident, safety concerns, and medical assistance calls Investigate and report any violations of law or hotel policy Provide First Aid and CPR as required Conduct regular floor patrols, cash counts, and crowd control Maintain computer records of all actions in a Daily Activity Report Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way Qualifications A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment. Refined verbal and written communication skills. Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Proficient in basic computer skills. Previous security experience preferred. Proof of eligibility to work in the United States and a completed background check.
