You will support the interdisciplinary team by supervising nursing assistants, administering treatments and medications, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for all residents.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver and oversee comprehensive nursing care, including administering medications and treatments, and assessing residents' conditions.Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed.Supervise nursing assistants and actively participate in resident care as required.Utilize available resources to ensure optimal care is provided.Ensure that unit supplies and equipment are maintained and readily available.Promote and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.Respond appropriately to both resident and facility emergencies.Document care needs and interventions accurately in medical records and care plans.Complete all required documentation related to assessments, care planning, physician orders, and evaluations.Maintain effective communication across nursing shifts, departments, supervisors, physicians, and resident families.Advocate for residents' rights and report any signs of abuse or neglect.Adhere strictly to safety protocols and infection control policies.Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times.Assist with onboarding and orientation of new nursing staff.Provide feedback for the evaluation of nursing assistants.Attend in-service education and training to support ongoing professional development.Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.Accept reassignment as necessary to meet resident care needs.Perform other related duties as assigned.Job DetailsPay Rate: $46.69 per hourHours: Part-Time 16 hours per weekShift Schedule: NOCDays Off: VariesWorking Days: VariesWeek 1 schedule: Days Worked: Sunday and WednesdayWeek 2 schedule: Days Worked: Monday and SaturdayRequired QualificationsGraduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing program.Current and active LVN license in the state of California.Current CPR certification.Two years of acute or long-term care experience preferred.Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.Strong commitment to quality patient care, safety, and professionalism.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 25 poundsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and assist residents for extended periodsAbility to use proper body mechanics and assistive devices safelyOur Investment In YouComprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage; a 403(b) Retirement Plan; Paid Time Off (PTO); Tuition Reimbursement; Commuter Benefits; and Weekday Shuttle Service to and from Glen Park BART Station.The San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
