Location: MetroHealth Rehabilitation Institute- Old Brooklyn Bi-weekly Hours: 72.00 Shift: 7p-7a; rotating weekends, rotating holidays ***Up to $10,000 sign on bonus for RNs with qualifying experience*** For nearly two centuries, MetroHealth's mission has been focused on delivering high-quality patient-centered care to all communities in Northeast Ohio. In addition, MetroHealth has been designated a Spinal Cord Injury Model System by the National Institutes of Health, one of only 18 such centers nationally. Join our Neuro Trauma Recovery Float Pool! Primary Patient Population:

• Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)
• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Stroke Recovery

Primary skills utilized/learned:

• Ventilator/Trach Care
• SCI retraining (Bowel & Bladder management program)
• Wound prevention and care
• Specialty treatment and technology for regain of function
• Rehabilitation specific education for patient/family

Personnel RN will work with:

• LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers/Case Management, Respiratory Therapy, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Art & Music Therapy, Dieticians

Number of beds on unit:

• Will float across 3 different units within our Physical Rehabilitation Institute

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN
• Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or other Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
