Job Title

The STNA / CNA / NA provides routine daily nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). This role involves assisting patients with activities of daily living, monitoring patient conditions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene.
• Assist patients with mobility, including transferring, ambulating, and positioning.
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respirations).
• Assist with feeding and meal preparation as needed.
• Maintain patient records and documentation accurately and timely.
• Report changes in patient condition to the RN.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe patient environment.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current STNA / CNA / NA certification in good standing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients, requiring physical strength and endurance.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
