• We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Cincinnati, Ohio.

• In this role, you will set up, operate, and optimize CNC equipment to produce high-precision components used in advanced searchlight products. This position is ideal for a skilled machinist who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, thrives in a collaborative environment, and enjoys solving complex machining challenges.

Position Overview:

• As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for the complete machining process-from setup and programming adjustments to quality inspection and process optimization.

• You will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure parts are manufactured efficiently and meet exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to manufacture precision components

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications

• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each project

• Modify programs, offsets, and tooling to achieve required tolerances

• Perform advanced machine setups for multi-axis machining operations

• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments

• Document inspection results and maintain production records

• Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with engineering teams to implement solutions

• Perform routine machine maintenance and support equipment uptime

• Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and quality

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong CNC programming skills, including G-Code and Mazatrol/M-Codes

• Advanced setup and operation experience with multi-axis CNC equipment

• Hands-on machining experience with milling operations and metal-cutting processes

• Strong understanding of tooling selection, machine setup, and process troubleshooting

Proficiency using precision measurement tools, including:

• Calipers

• Micrometers

• Gauges

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and engineering specifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Haas and Mazak CNC machine tools

• Previous experience in metal fabrication or precision manufacturing environments

• Technical or vocational training in machining, manufacturing, or a related field

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift materials and tooling as needed

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to safely perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
