Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Part-Time PRN Pharmacist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about healthcare, have excellent communication skills, and be dedicated to providing high-quality service to our patients and customers. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values personal interaction and community well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
Provide medication counseling and healthcare advice to patients.
Conduct health and wellness screenings.
Manage inventory and place orders for pharmaceutical supplies.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and professional requirements.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
Participate in community health initiatives and pharmacy events.
Qualifications:
Valid Pharmacist license in Maryland
3 years of experience working in a retail
Strong knowledge of pharmacology, healthcare regulations, and pharmacy operations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Immunization Certified
Knowledge of the Prime RX Pharmacy system would be a plus but we offer training and have trained a team of pharmacy technicians to support the pharmacist.
Work Hours:
Part-time position - PRN Position 8-10 hours per week.
Flexible scheduling, including Saturday as needed or about 2 Saturday’s per month and also to cover more days during staff vacations etc.
