Licensed Practical Nurse

Position Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide respectful, comprehensive, and person-centered direct care services to individuals in residential homes operated by Minnesota State Operated Community Services (MSOCS). Responsibilities Take temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure readings. Administer and record prescribed medication. Keep clinical charts and reports on the physical and emotional state of clients. Promote and participate in rehabilitation activities. Maintain a clean and hazard-free environment. Promote clients' personal hygiene. Regulate parental fluids and administer intramuscular injections. Administer emergency first aid. Order supplies and equipment. Operate a motor vehicle and possess a current, valid driver’s license. Minimum Qualifications Licensure in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse. Valid driver’s license. Future Practical Nurses within six months of graduating and taking the NCLEX‑LPN encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with culturally diverse populations.
