Now Hiring MIG TIG Welder Fabricator Location Auburn Indiana First Shift Monday through Thursday 6:00 am to 4:00 pm Overtime available on Fridays Pay $22.00 per hour Immediate openings are available for experienced MIG TIG Welders and Fabricators in Auburn Indiana. Job Duties

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metal alloys
• Read and interpret blueprints shop drawings and work instructions
• Layout position align fit and weld parts into completed assemblies
• Use jigs welding equipment hand tools calipers rulers straightedges and measuring tools
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications
• Monitor welding processes to prevent overheating distortion or warping
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials and finished products
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
• Follow OSHA safety requirements and company safety procedures
• Report quality issues and nonconforming materials to supervisors
• Troubleshoot basic welding and fabrication issues
• Complete production goals while maintaining high quality standards

Qualifications

• Previous MIG and TIG welding experience strongly preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Experience using calipers rulers straightedges and other measuring equipment
• Knowledge of welding equipment fabrication techniques and metal alloys
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Good communication skills
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand walk bend kneel squat twist reach and work throughout a 10 hour shift
• Excellent hand eye coordination and manual dexterity
