Registered Nurse - Acute Care Surgical Unit - Full-Time Days

Role Overview The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral member of an interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking. The role emphasizes relationship-based care tailored to diverse populations, fostering collaboration with patients and families to align care with their goals. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and document safe, quality patient care while promoting respectful, inclusive communication among team members. Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research activities, and uphold organizational policies and standards. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to develop a qualified workforce and model professional nursing practice. Contribute to developing protocols, participating in data collection, and promoting evidence-based practices. Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum, supporting resource efficiency and safety goals. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelors preferred. Valid RN license (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings, respond decisively to emergencies, and utilize technology effectively. Excellent time management, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
