Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist

• Conduct MRI scans including Neuro, MSK, Abdomen, Breast, MRA/MRV, and General MRI.
• Administer contrast when required.
• Perform pediatric imaging.
• Screen patients and ensure their preparation and safety.
• Collaborate with the Nurse for sedation cases when necessary.

Requirements of the MRI Technologist

• ARRT (MR) certification and BLS required.
• ARRT (R) certification only is not accepted; must hold MRI certification.
• No New York state license required.
