Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Description

As a CNC Machinist in a production environment, you will primarily support a single-turret lathe with Fanuc controls. This role involves working in one of the busiest areas of the shop, requiring a proactive individual who can maintain production flow, troubleshoot issues, and manage regular changeovers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support a single-turret CNC lathe with Fanuc controls.

• Perform changeovers every 1–2 days.

• Make tool changes and wear offset adjustments.

• Read and understand basic G-code and M-code.

• Maintain production flow in a high-activity manufacturing environment.

• Occasionally assist with setups on Haas machines (approximately once every two weeks).

• Hold tolerances ranging from ±0.0005" to ±0.004".

Essential Skills

• Skilled CNC machinist or manual machinist with CNC experience.

• Comfortable making machine adjustments and handling routine troubleshooting.

• Experience with Fanuc controls preferred.

• Strong production machining mindset.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable with a production environment that's less custom.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
