Store Manager - Chapel Rd, Decatur, GA

Position Summary The Store Manager is responsible for the daily operations of a retail store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandising execution, expense and inventory management, staff training and development, human resource management, and outstanding customer service. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Oversee quality and performance of store staff. Analyze and measure business trends to maximize revenues and control costs. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures. Demonstrate effective leadership to secure commitment to store goals and training standards. Recruit, select, train, and develop store personnel. Conduct annual performance evaluations for all employees. Manage expenses and develop strategies that align with budget. Monitor and address issues related to loss shrinkage, ensuring performance below company plan. Control all operational compliance, safety, and business standards. Identify market conditions and merchandise opportunities and communicate to District Manager. Maintain customer service standards so each customer receives outstanding service. Perform other duties as assigned. Work a minimum of 46 hours per week with a flexible schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications Education and Experience: Minimum of one year in retail management. Skills & Knowledge: Solid business knowledge and excellent command of English. High level of interpersonal skills for sensitive and confidential situations. Poise, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism in all situations. Strategic thinking, planning, and organizational skills. Proficient analytical ability to gather, summarize data, and solve problems. Results-driven with critical and creative thinking. Project management, time management, analytical, and superior organizational skills. Discretion, confidentiality, and independent judgment with compassion and diplomacy. Ability to plan, organize, multi-task, set priorities, and respond proactively. Execute directives with precision and consistency. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Willingness to work in multiple stores and travel by car, plane, or train. Reliable transportation. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods; lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
