Global Product Manager - Digital Connectivity

Overview Eaton Electrical Division is seeking a Product Manager to develop and drive the strategy and execution for its digital connectivity solutions within the Distributed IT (D-IT) organization. This role can be based in Woodridge, IL, or Raleigh, NC, or Asheville, NC, and reports to the Sr. Product Line Manager for Physical Infrastructure. Responsibilities include defining product direction, supporting new product development, and managing the lifecycle of digital connectivity offerings such as network management cards, embedded communications, firmware, and software capabilities. The candidate will lead portfolio roadmap planning, new product introduction activities across software, firmware, and hardware offerings, and lifecycle management to ensure alignment with customer needs, market requirements, and cybersecurity expectations. The expected annual salary range is $113,000–$165,000, with eligibility for a variable incentive program. Salary is based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications as well as market and business considerations. What You’ll Do Develop and implement a strategic plan for the digital connectivity product category, including product development initiatives and marketing programs to achieve growth in orders, revenue, and profitability. Support short-term and long-term product line objectives, including sales targets, pricing strategy, and margin performance. Direct and support new product development and introduction activities for connectivity hardware, firmware, and software offerings. Serve as the business owner for cybersecurity considerations across the digital connectivity portfolio, partnering with engineering, IT, and cybersecurity teams to translate security findings into product priorities, remediation decisions, and lifecycle actions. Develop and maintain product roadmaps and manage the full product lifecycle, including enhancements and product transitions. Participate in product line financials, including forecasting and performance to plan. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, IT, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain. Represent the product line in internal and external discussions related to product capabilities and roadmap direction. Serve as the primary business owner for digital connectivity in the NAM region and partner cross-functionally to ensure globally consistent execution and support. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Product Management or a related field. Minimum of three (3) years of experience with UPS systems, connectivity products, or related technologies. You will set yourself apart by demonstrating some or all of the following: Advanced degree. Demonstrated track record supporting product line growth. Understanding of product development processes or stage-gate methodologies. Experience with SAP, Office 365, Power BI, and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
