Key Responsibilities
Your role encompasses the following key responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality telehealth counseling sessions individually and in groups, focusing on areas such as mental health, trauma, and dual diagnosis.
- Utilize our cloud-based electronic health records system to maintain accurate and compliant documentation, an essential part of ensuring continuity and quality of care.
- Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, guiding them through symptom management and coping strategies.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify specific needs and create tailored intervention strategies.
- Engage in regular consultations with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient treatment outcomes and address complex cases.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Working primarily with a diverse adult clientele, your patient population will consist of individuals facing a range of mental health challenges. Many patients present with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues, requiring compassionate and skillful intervention. Your work directly contributes to helping clients achieve improved mental health outcomes, enabling them to reintegrate positively into their personal and professional lives.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
- Active and unrestricted licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.
- Strong technological proficiency, including familiarity with telehealth systems and electronic health record software.
- Ability to work independently, managing your time efficiently in a remote setting.
- A clean background check and willingness to work some evenings and weekends to accommodate client schedules.
Preferred Experience
While two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with three or more years in mental health counseling will be given preference. Experience working with diverse client populations and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities will enhance your candidacy.
