Accountant

Overview Our client, a well-established and fast-growing franchise organization, is seeking an Accountant to join their accounting team in a hybrid role based in Athens or Atlanta, GA . This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical professional who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records for various business units Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports , including marketing and coop budgets Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance Manage accounts payable and receivable , ensuring timely payments and collections Provide payroll support in collaboration with the HR team Support franchise-level coop budgeting and financial tracking Assist with both front-end accounting (sales, inventory) and back-end processes (general ledger, reporting) Ideal Candidate / Qualifications 2+ years of relevant accounting experience Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications Strong attention to detail and accuracy Able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment This is a hybrid position , requiring time in both the Athens and Atlanta offices .
