Design Quality Assurance Engineer

Salary: $105,000 - 145,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in die casting, stamping, or plastics
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in die casting, stamping, or plastics
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of CATIA, PolyWorks, or Keyence is preferred

• Collect and analyze quality data, then develop countermeasures to meet quality targets
• Evaluate dies and ensure they meet final quality requirements before shipment to the production plant
• Present quality results and recommend next steps when data does not conform
• Work with customers to meet their quality targets and expectations
• Develop part supplementals
• Create fixture specifications for parts produced by tooling
• Support preliminary new-model development to shorten the maturation process
• Use knowledge and experience to inform future models, reduce trial events, and support long-term production stability and KPI performance
