As one of the nation's largest nonprofit Catholic healthcare organizations, CommonSpirit Health delivers more than 20 million patient encounters annually through more than 2,300 clinics, care sites and 158 hospital-based locations, in addition to its home-based services and virtual care offerings.As our CT Tech, you will perform high-quality CT images and exams, providing essential patient care within the medical imaging department while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs.Every day you will follow standards of safe radiation practice, demonstrate leadership for other associate technologists, act as a clinical resource to unit personnel, and assure current standards of practice for the unit.To be successful in this role, you will possess expert technical skills in CT imaging, a strong commitment to patient safety and radiation practice, excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team leadership, and the ability to serve as a valuable clinical resource.Performs diagnostic imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients and all other individuals.Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to "as low as reasonably achievable" (ALARA).Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner.Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports/documents unusual occurrences and records patient's condition.Maintains technical operation of equipment and notifies service when necessary.Required:High School Diploma or GEDARRT (CT), ARRT (T), ARRT (N) or CNMT registry or State CT registry ARRT R with CT training.BLS, American Heart AssociationState Radiology Tech license for those working at a Kansas siteTwo (2) years of related experiencePreferred:Associate DegreeWhere You'll Work:Penrose - St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprising Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and St. Francis Hospital - Interquest.
