3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Support Technician to help ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of our laboratory spaces. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-supported work environment for our research teams. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. Key Responsibilities Serve as the go-to contact for lab operations, coordinating with scientists, facilities, and operations teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow. Manage equipment service requests, coordinate repairs, and ensure timely sourcing of lab supplies and consumables. Oversee waste disposal processes, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental protocols. Monitor freezer and storage systems, respond to alarms, and maintain documentation. Lead periodic cleanouts, inventory updates, and calibration efforts to keep lab spaces organized and compliant. Conduct routine safety inspections and assist with follow-up actions to address findings. Support onboarding and offboarding of lab personnel, including workspace setup and access coordination. Interface with vendors to maintain stock levels of essential supplies and consumables. Maintain shared lab areas, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and readiness for daily use. Qualifications Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience in operations, facilities coordination, or technical support (lab experience a plus but not required). Familiarity with workplace safety and compliance practices. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Detail-oriented with a proactive, service-minded approach. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
