Structural Carpenters/Finishers- Denver Metro

Job Overview We are seeking Structural Carpenters with experience for a project located in Denver, CO. Requirements Familiar with vertical formwork systems Build formwork in elevated positions Read and interpret shop drawings Maintain clean organized work areas Layout, set elevations, centerlines, etc. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in confined or elevated spaces 3+ years of Structural concrete experience (Vertical concrete preferred) Responsibilities / How you will contribute to the team Read plans and specifications Print layouts Comply with all Company Safety policies and procedures, such as ensuring proper safety scaffolding and other equipment are in place while performing job duties Secure and put away all tools, equipment, and materials at the end of each workday Layout, set elevations and grade, install PVC water stop, set anchor bolts, block-outs and erect and strip gang forms Finish and place concrete Preferred Qualifications Good attendance record with references from previous employers Safety certifications (OSHA) a plus At least 2 years of experience, preferably in heavy civil construction Strength to perform average lifting of up to 35 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs from the ground to waist level Arm, hand, and finger dexterity with both hands involved in activities such as reaching, handling, and feeling—and with good eyesight Ability to navigate through the work-site on a daily basis Occasionally climb up and down ladders, scaffolding and stairs Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, confined spaces, high places, and excavated areas (PCL offers training & certifications as required) Salary and Benefits The salary range for this position is between $30 - $38 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
