About the Role The Adventure Travel Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing strategic, high-quality content that drives trip inquiries and bookings, increases brand awareness, and supports revenue growth for adventure travel clients. This role works directly under the owner to translate marketing strategy into compelling, conversion-focused content across digital and print channels. The ideal candidate combines strong copywriting skills with strategic thinking, enthusiasm for fishing and outdoor adventure, and an understanding of experience-driven marketing. Key Responsibilities Content Strategy & Planning Translate strategy into actionable content plans Develop and manage monthly content calendars (organic and paid) Align messaging with booking goals, seasonal promotions, and target audiences Identify content opportunities that support trip inquiries and conversions Conduct keyword research to support blog and landing page content Ensure messaging aligns with brand voice and campaign strategy Social Media (Organic & Paid) Write engaging, experience-driven social media copy Develop recurring content themes Write paid social ad copy focused on inquiries and bookings Collaborate with designers on compelling visual storytelling Monitor engagement trends and optimize messaging accordingly Email Marketing Write and build booking-driven newsletters Develop seasonal campaigns Create nurture sequences for new leads and past guests Craft compelling subject lines and calls to action Support segmentation and lifecycle marketing strategies within HubSpot Blog & SEO Content Write SEO-optimized blog posts focused on destinations, trip planning, and fishing expertise Develop long-form pillar content for key trip categories Update and optimize existing content Collaborate with internal team members to align content with SEO strategy Landing Pages Write conversion-focused trip landing pages Develop messaging hierarchy Align landing pages with paid media and lead generation campaigns Support A/B testing initiatives Collateral Write brochures, trip guides, and one-pagers Develop trade show and expo materials Support branded collateral for events and promotional initiatives Creative Coordination Develop clear creative briefs for graphic designers Provide direction on messaging hierarchy and visual alignment Review and provide feedback on creative assets Maintain brand voice consistency across all deliverables Performance & Optimization Review content performance metrics Identify opportunities to improve engagement, inquiries, and bookings Collaborate with the Account Executive and Automation Specialist on funnel performance Participate in monthly and quarterly reporting reviews Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or digital marketing Strong copywriting and editing skills Experience writing for email, social media, blogs, and landing pages Understanding of social media strategy (organic and paid) Experience developing email marketing campaigns and journeys Experience working within HubSpot or similar CRM platform Strong project management and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple client deliverables simultaneously Proficiency with common marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Meta Business Suite, WordPress, etc.) Basic understanding of SEO principles Preferred Qualifications Experience marketing within travel, tourism, outdoor, or hospitality industries Passion for fishing, outdoor recreation, or adventure travel Experience with booking-driven or revenue-focused campaigns Familiarity with Google Analytics and HubSpot reporting tools Experience supporting event or trade show marketing initiatives About MDS Manifest Digital Solutions (MDS) is a digital marketing firm based in Bozeman, MT, specializing in executing full-scale marketing programs that drive revenue for clients in behavioral health and adventure travel.
