About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel with a focus on contracting to join their dynamic, values-based environment. The successful candidate will be the primary attorney for deal documentation, including master lease agreements, financial agreements, NDAs, and various ancillary documents. This role is pivotal in ensuring the legal aspects of the business are in line with the company's growth and discipline. The Associate General Counsel will be responsible for negotiating and documenting agreements, maintaining the NDA pipeline, and supporting the General Counsel in broader legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. from an accredited law school, 3-5 years' of transactional experience, and a proactive, collaborative approach to their work. Key responsibilities for this role at the company include project execution, collaboration, and tech proficiency. The candidate should be adept at managing multiple deals, working effectively with cross-functional teams, and leveraging technology to streamline legal processes. Experience in commercial transactions, finance, or equipment leasing is preferred, as is familiarity with UCC Article 9, secured lending, and equipment finance structures. The role demands a high level of contract literacy, the ability to integrate AI into legal workflows, and a strong focus on process management to ensure the scalability and efficiency of contracting processes.
