Physical Therapist II - Per Diem

Hourly Pay Range $38.67 - $59.94 hourly, determined by expertise and years of experience. Position Highlights Position: Physical Therapist – Per Diem Per Diem Flat Rate for Physical Therapist: $51.00 per hour Location: 15120 Wallin Dr, Plainfield, IL Additional Locations: Edward outpatient rehab clinic locations; may travel to surrounding areas. Per Diem/As Needed Clinic hours: Mon‑Thu 7 am‑7 pm, Fri 7 am‑5:30 pm, Sat 8 am‑12 pm (Woodridge only) Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (if graduated before 2002) OR Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (if graduated 2002‑2014) OR Doctorate in Physical Therapy (if graduated 2015 and after). Current State of Illinois Physical Therapist licensure. Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association BLS provider. A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off‑site location, with automobile liability coverage as required by law. A minimum of 1‑3 years experience with demonstration of clinical independence. Will consider a training therapist with experience in general orthopedics. Support available for certification and development. Additional License Requirements (if not currently licensed) Notification from Continental Testing Services advising of receipt and approval of application for licensure (if first‑time test taker). "Authorization to Test" (ATT) letter from Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy. Confirmation of Computer‑Based Exam. State of Illinois Physical Therapy license within 90 days of hire. Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association BLS provider. Responsibilities Provides direct physical therapy services to patients. Demonstrates an appropriate level of clinical skill, completing comprehensive and insightful evaluations and developing individualized, effective treatment plans designed to achieve precise, functional goals. Evaluates patients’ physical and functional status, implements therapeutic programs that include prevention, identification, correction, and alleviation of acute or prolonged movement dysfunction. Uses excellent communication skills to educate patients and engage them in their own care. Maintains updated knowledge of developments, new techniques, and equipment in the field of physical therapy. Maintains a well‑rounded knowledge base and clinical reasoning skills to consistently achieve expected clinical outcomes.
