Hematologist Oncologist Position Altamonte Springs/Oviedo, Florida

Overview We have an exciting opportunity to help expand an already established practice with AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Oncology & Hematology in Altamonte Springs. The practice is looking for a team-oriented fellowship trained hematologist oncologist to join our group. This opportunity will provide inpatient and outpatient services seeing a variety of hematology and oncology patients. Time spent in our newly renovated outpatient clinic in Oviedo, Florida. Practice consists of four physicians and multiple APPs. Infusion, radiation and surgical services available at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs and surrounding hospitals. Access to multidisciplinary clinics, research, clinical trials (including Phase 1) and daily tumor boards. Ideal candidate has experience with practice building in a new market, and seeing a variety of hematologic malignancies and solid tumor patients. Call rotation shared with other physicians, including weekends. Support of nurse navigators, social workers, chaplain support, pharmacy, nutrition, etc. Extended network of 7 other medical oncology sites in and surrounding Orlando. Requirements Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
