About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Telemetry/step-down experience required. Experience in managing cardiac drips and ECG. Description: Position focuses on telemetry and step-down care. Staffing ratio is 1 nurse to 4-5 patients. Weekend coverage is required once every other weekend. Candidates must be open to floating within their scope of practice. Pending licenses are accepted for submission. No more than 7 days of requested time off is allowed during the contract. Travelers should have access to relevant experiences in managing various cardiac conditions. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Patient population primarily consists of adults with cardiac-related diagnoses. The unit conducts several special procedures, including cardiac catheterization and echocardiograms. Familiarity with various patient care management practices is essential. Travelers will need to complete all mandatory compliance requirements before the start date. All requested time off must be finalized at the time of submission. No new requests for time off after the submission of the application. Additional requests for schedule changes are not permitted post-offer. Candidates should be prepared to meet all facility-specific compliance deadlines.
