BayCare is currently in search of our newest Clinical Coordinator MA who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. BayCare's top priority is the health and well-being of our communities as Tampa Bay's leading multi-specialty group with more than 600 providers practicing 45 specialties in over 175 outpatient locations throughout the Tampa Bay and west central Florida regions.

Status: Full Time

Shift Days/Hours: Monday thru Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

Location: BayCare Medical Group Suncoast

Weekend Work: None

On Call: No

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily clinical operations.
Assist Site Manager and physicians with the successful operations of the clinical staff, procedures and treatment
Support the physician's office health care team
Answer phones
Screen patient's chart prior to appointment
Interview patients and prepare them for examinations and other procedures
Assist the physician during the exam
Administer injections
Perform any necessary lab work or testing
Follow up on test orders and reports results to the physician and patient
Provides patient education
Maintain medical equipment and take inventory
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Required Certification or Licensure includes RMA (Registered Medical Assistant, CMA (Medical Assistant), EMT or NREMT (Nationally Recognized Emergency Medical Technician), or Paramedic
Required High School or Equivalent
Required 3 years Medical Assistant experience
