Summary / Purpose of Position: This position's primary responsibility is to shepherd a high performing team to ensure that the AutoWorks Workforce Development operates in a productive and positive manner. - Ensure that all store employees and volunteers' behavior is in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Miracle Hill Ministries.
- Provide Christ-centered leadership that ensures all are treated with fairness, dignity and respect.
- Champion positive work culture, good stewardship and efficient processes that drive strong team performance that consistently meets production and sales goals.
- Recruit, hire and train all employees to department policy and standard operating procedures; provide performance evaluation, ongoing coaching, feedback and corrective disciplinary action when needed.
- Develop department strategies and events to increase donor/customer traffic and optimize profitability.
- Plan and prepare department work schedules and assign employees, clients, and volunteers to specific duties.
- Oversee the timely processing of all incoming vehicles and appropriately set, plan and lead daily goals to achieve production and placement in all areas.
- Implement pricing strategies appropriate to current supply and demand trends to ensure sell-through.
- Evaluate vehicle inventory needs and oversee vehicle purchases.
- Research and source inventory including negotiating with dealers and wholesalers for the best price.
- Determine prices for used vehicle inventory and set sales goals for sales team.
- Demonstrate and promote a Christ-centered store environment, encouraging exceptional donor/customer engagement and customer service, promptly greeting, assisting and thanking all donors and customers.
- Control and manage payroll and operating expenses in compliance with the annual operating budget.
- Resolve all employee, donor and customer concerns in a timely and respectful manner.
- Ensure inside and outside areas of the facility are neat, clean, organized and free from any hazards.
- Ensure that employees follow proper store cash handling procedures, funds are secured and cash reconciliation with sales receipts, daily sales records and reports are maintained and properly recorded.
- Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines, timely correcting and reporting hazards and incidents.
- Have a willingness to share the good news of Jesus Christ, give a personal testimony and pray with/for those served by the ministry.
- Mobile Phone Reimbursement: Select MHM roles are required to use their personal mobile phone device to complete their essential job duties. Those roles are approved for mobile phone reimbursement and will be paid through MHM payroll.
- Perform any of the required job duties as assigned.
- Ability to see, distinguish color, hear, speak, bend, lift and move up to 35 pounds on a regular basis.

- Education or equivalent experience: BA in related field preferred, but not required.
- Experience: 5 years Vehicle Dealership experience, preferably with three or more years in a supervisory role.
- Basic computer, cash register and accurate cash handling ability required.
- License/Certification: Valid SC driver's license is required; MVR record must meet MHM insurance criteria.
- Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ expressed through a profession of faith in Christ.
- Agree with and fully support MHM's doctrinal statement.
- Actively participate in and continue in good standing with a local Christian church. (The church is God's vehicle of spiritual accountability. Employees must meet the expectations of their church, in areas of conduct not addressed by MHM).
- Reflect a passion for evangelism, the homeless and the spiritual welfare of all connected to the ministry - guests, employees, volunteers, customers, and contributors.
- Demonstrate sound judgment based on Biblical principles and spiritual maturity commensurate with the requirements for your position.
- Exhibit Christian conduct: acting professionally and ethically, consistent with the Biblical principles of humility, integrity, and compassion. This includes:
- Abstain from the use of illegal drugs or the inappropriate use of medication.
- Abstain from activities or addictions that have a detrimental effect on you, guests or MHM's reputation. Because we serve addicted guests, to keep from becoming a stumbling block (Romans 14:13-23), you are asked to restrict your freedom in the public use of addictive substances (including alcohol and tobacco) and in your choice of entertainment. Display tangible evidence of spiritual maturity. (Titus 2:11-12)
- Relationships, particularly with the opposite sex, are above reproach.
- Gender expression consistent with your gender at birth.
- Living free of sexual sin (to include pornographic materials, homosexual conduct, and extra-marital relationships including cohabitation before marriage).
