Branch Skilled- Maintenance Mechanic Trainee- 2nd shift

Position Title: Maintenance Mechanic Trainee Wage: $20-$24/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3:30pm-12:00am Responsibilities Inspect and identify equipment or machinery in need of repair Troubleshoot issues and determine appropriate solutions Read and interpret blueprints, equipment manuals, and building plans Perform general facility maintenance tasks, including painting and carpentry Complete basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, including preventative maintenance Maintain and perform general upkeep on forklifts Support facility cleanliness and overall upkeep Assist with maintenance inventory and materials management Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma preferred 1-2 years of related maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and training Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Basic math skills Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently with general supervision Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Prolonged standing and walking required Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Frequent bending, twisting, crouching, reaching, pulling, and pushing Ability to climb ladders and work in confined or awkward spaces Use of hands to operate tools, equipment, and controls Ability to operate forklifts (certification required) Must be able to see details at varying distances Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and steel-toed boots Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, machinery, and testing equipment Work environment noise level ranges from moderate to loud We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
