Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) with weekend requirements and holiday availability.
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for night shifts. This role entails providing comprehensive care in a fast-paced emergency department environment, catering to both adult and pediatric patients. The ideal candidate must be able to manage various emergency situations efficiently and provide critical support.
- Provide emergency care to patients in a timely and effective manner.
- Conduct triage and manage patient assessment duties.
- Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
- Monitor and interpret vital signs and dysrhythmias.
- Perform arterial line management and phlebotomy.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience required.
- Current California RN license is required.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC preferred.
- Experience with a variety of patient diagnoses and procedures in an emergency setting.
