Reg Respiratory Therapist, Full Time, Day shift

Position Summary To administer all forms of Respiratory Therapy, participate in consultations involving types of therapy administered, maintain equipment, enforce safety standards, and keep departmental records. Education Associates Degree from an approved NBRC Program and successful completion of the NBRC entrance registry examination. Experience Minimum of one to two years of experience in all forms of Respiratory Therapy preferred. Special Skills Registration by the NBRC as a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner and current CPR Certification. ACLS Certification preferred. Licensed in the State of New Jersey. Effective group process skills. Effective oral and written communication skills to express ideas clearly. Effective listening skills. Attention to detail and ability to shift from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure. Ability to function competently in stressful situations and in a changing work environment related to patient needs. Ability to work cooperatively with patients, family members, and multidisciplinary team members (e.g., physicians, Rehab, DI, Lab, etc.). Time‑management skills to set priorities, perform job‑related responsibilities, and respond quickly to emergency situations. Analytical and critical‑thinking skills to problem‑solve.
