JDH Wealth has an opening for an Associate Wealth Advisor.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in wealth management while working directly with experienced advisors, clients, and complex financial planning situations. As an Associate Wealth Advisor, you will partner closely with our Wealth Advisors to help manage client relationships, develop financial plans, oversee investment portfolios, and address retirement, tax, estate, and other advanced planning needs. We are a small, collaborative team, so this is not a narrowly defined support role. You will be involved in the details, participate in client meetings, take ownership of projects, and have the opportunity to grow as your experience and responsibilities expand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·       Develop a strong understanding of JDH Wealth's investment philosophy and evidence-based investment approach

·       Assist in developing and maintaining personalized Investment Policy Statements

• Participate in client meetings and assist with preparation, follow-up, and implementation
• Work with Portfolio Management on portfolio implementation, trading, rebalancing, and tax-loss harvesting
• Create and update financial plans using MoneyGuide Elite, including client and scenario-based analysis.

·       Maintain accurate and detailed client records and communication in Wealthbox

·       Help identify and evaluate retirement, tax, estate, insurance, and other planning opportunities

·       Manage day-to-day client needs and collaborate with team members to ensure responsive, exceptional service

As You Grow

• Take increasing responsibility for client relationships, meetings, and the client onboarding process
• Develop expertise in an advanced planning area or key firm process
• Contribute ideas that improve client service and operations and support JDH Wealth's strategic priorities.

What We’re Looking For

Education and Credentials

• 2+ years of financial services or wealth management experience
• Bachelor's degree
• CFP®, CFA, CPA/PFS, or progress toward a professional designation preferred
• Series 65 or ability to obtain it within 120 days of employment
