Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular ICU

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular ICU will provide specialized care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including post-surgical recovery and catheterization interventions.

Responsibilities:

Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, and thermoregulation.
Monitor and care for post-cardiac surgery patients and those undergoing cardiac catheterization.
Manage devices including Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump and Impella.
Administer medications, including continuous IV sedation and emergency medications.

Requirements:

3 years of Cardiovascular ICU experience; pass an EKG test.
Active IL license, CPR, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; Epic experience required.
